# Tedix documentation

Tedix is a platform for durable digital workers: long-lived software workers
with identity, memory, tools, policies, budgets, and an audit trail.

Unlike a temporary chat session, a Tedix worker can continue operating for an
organization, preserve useful context, explain its actions, and work through
the systems the organization already uses.

## What you can build

Tedix supports internal operational workers, department specialists,
customer-facing assistants, and task-focused workers. Each worker receives
only the tools and authority it needs.

The platform is designed around customer ownership: identity, operating
history, memory, policies, artifacts, and audit evidence remain attributable
to the organization running the worker.
